Get Off The Tightrope

Ever had a moment where you stop and think,

“What am I even doing right now?”

You’re trying to fill every role, take every call, text everyone back, answer every email… and somehow still live your life.

Here’s the truth:

👉 It doesn’t work.

What it does create is burnout.

And eventually? Loss of momentum.

The Shift That Changed Everything

I have good news—there is a better way.

What actually works is acting with intention.

For a long time, I wasn’t making decisions with purpose.

I was reacting to everything.

Something would happen → I’d respond → then I’d scramble trying to fix everything at once.

It felt like running around putting out fires all day.

And it was exhausting.

What I Started Doing Differently

I stopped reacting… and started planning.

I began asking:

• What’s coming next?

• What will I need?

• Who can help me get there?

And then—I actually asked for help.

Not in a last-minute, overwhelmed way…

but with intention and a plan.

What Happened Next

Everything shifted.

• I realized people do want to help

• I saw that others had skills I didn’t

• I got ideas and perspectives I never would’ve had on my own

Sometimes it was a big contribution.

Sometimes it was a small suggestion.

But either way—it made a difference.

The Part That Was Hard

I had to humble myself.

And I won’t lie—that part wasn’t easy.

But once I did?

👉 The relief was immediate.

Get Off the Tightrope

There are seasons where life feels like walking a tightrope.

Like if you drop one thing… everything might fall apart.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

👉 You don’t need better balance.

👉 You need a better approach.

You’re not meant to do everything alone.

So if you’re out there trying to hold it all together…

Get off the tightrope.
